From Mexico, the sweetest of all the Chillies giving a mild fruity flavour with tones of Coffee, Tobacco, Liquorice, Raisin and Dried Plum. The Ancho Chilli Powder together with the Pasilla and Mulato Chillies form the "holy trinity" of Chillies used to prepare traditional Mexican mole sauces. Also used in Salsa, Sauces, Dips, Chilli Con Carne, Enchilada and great for seasoning Meat and Vegetables.
